Glorious Little Treasures

Looking through the eyes of children

What a glorious world we see

All the mysteries and adventures are

So abundant, always free

Today a visit to the park

Tomorrow trucks and sand

The days fly on with breathless haste

The fun, so fast,  never planned

Grandma’s treasures, each one of you

No matter big or small

All cherished memories made each day

Teens to infants, love them all.

At times life is a cheat and a disappointment. especially if you are a grandparent. Children grow up too quickly and only grandparents can take the time and reflect upon those moments when their own children and grand children made such an impact on their view of life. A child’s inquisitive nature and innate sense of play should be as infectious as the flu virus and cause their parents to want to actively take part in their earning and fun experiences. Thank you Pat for this emotional and nostalgic look at childhood memories. I am sure you are a wonderful grandmother. xx
